Dr. Harwood Talks Sports Injuries
Marc Harwood, MD, who specializes in sports medicine at Jefferson, talks about sports injuries on the popular WHYY Radio Times show.
When asked what's increasing the rate of sports injury, Hardwood says that we're seeing people run marathons who have never run before; a certain aging population that is starting to do more. "There is a certain element of overuse...the newest thing is to run your first marathon at the age of 60."
